Chromium, penchant libre de Google Chrome, a l'avantage d'être en version stable pour le moment sous Linux, j'ai donc décidé (depuis le temps) de le comparer à mon fidèle Firefox.
Après quelques bidouilles pour ajouter le support du flash, et une extension similaire à adblock pour virer les pubs. Je me retrouve avec deux navigateurs aux fonctionnalités similaires (sauf que Chromium est en anglais).
Dans Chromium j'aime bien l'interface très épurée, surtout les onglets situés dans la barre de la fenêtre, et la page des favoris. Il présente à première vu, ce pourquoi j'ai eu besoin de plugins sous FF. Je lance alors plusieurs pages : pages lourdes en images, sites chargé, contenus flash : Rien à dire la vitesse d'affichage est largement superieure.
C'est un navigateur bien sympatique, mais il lui manque quelques intégrations au système (java, moonlight, lecteur video, ...). Je reste avec mon Firefox, mais je garde Chromium de côté !
